Activities Done Under the Program

1. Educate Women and Girls

We know that the progress and development of India is not possible or rather it remains a dream until and unless, female children, homemakers and other women do not get equal opportunity to study in schools and colleges. Hence, with the aim to impart quality education to young girls, we have launched different campaigns under Vahini Program. Particularly, our program played a major role to provide education to girls, who belong to financially weak families.

2. Improving Conditions of Females in Society

Vahini Women Empowerment Program has also included activities aimed at social uplift of women fraternity in India. Major programs included under this category are encouragement of women to involve in different activities associated with banking and finance, technology, science and medical science and lots more.

3. Safety to Women and Saving Girl Child

Program launched with the efforts of Mrs. Mona Jain has concern to deal with two major problems of the society i.e. safety of women in homes as well as in outside areas as well as saving of girl child during prenatal stage of mother. If you look over last two census i.e. census of 2011 and census of 2001, you will find a significant reduction in the percentage of females birth as compared to males.

In order to overcome this problem, Shri Ram Group, Jabalpur launched Vahini program to make people understand that prenatal killing of girl child is not only a big crime, but also a big sin. Simultaneously, the program also educates parents that girls are not burdens; instead, they also act as assets for the family.
