Since
many years, students, professors, staffs, management personnel and
other people associated with the Shri Ram Group, Jabalpur have
obtained good names and recognitions in different sectors. These
include technology, education, pharmacy, management, computers and
internet, live projects, cultural and technological events and lots
more.
However,
the most important thing that makes Shri Ram Institute of Technology
and other institutes set up and functioning under the vast
educational group of Mahakaushal region is the efforts of faculty
members and students towards social responsibility.
Here,
we will give a briefing on the efforts of SRIT in Jabalpur to
establish Aarambh social responsibility program aimed at benefitting
people staying in backward regions of the country.
Aarambh
Social Responsibility Program
Today,
engineers, managers, pharmacists and other professionals not only
require to possess vast knowledge and skills in their specialized
areas, but also requires developing huge concerns to do activities
aimed at fulfilment of social responsibilities.
Establishment
of Aarambh program under Assistant Prof. Alpa Gore had taken place
based on the objective to motivate students of Shri Ram Group,
Jabalpur to develop feelings of humanity and social responsibility.
Simultaneously, the program aims to encourage girls and boys to take
necessary actions result in boosting financial and living conditions
of poor people.
Noticing
Facts of the Program
Until
now, volunteers and students of best engineering colleges in India
involved in Aarambh Program have shown their involvements in
following activities:
- Volunteers and other students have teamed up to aware and educate people about different steps and application of latest techniques, by which they can make sure about maintaining cleanliness of their surroundings.
- Organizers of the social responsibility program launched under Shri Ram Group Jabalpur have provided necessary financial help to large numbers of people stayed in slum areas. In addition, they have organized free classes to impart at least elementary education to the children of poor people and kids located in slum regions.
- Volunteers associated with Aarambh program had collected old books from different students and later on, provided to needy school kids and helped them to perform well in academics.
